Stanley James Bearnose was born on April 30, 1970 in Pine Ridge, SD to Joseph Bearnose and Gloria Red Paint. Stanley made his journey to the Spirit World on October 3, 2024 at his home near Waubay, SD.
Stanley is survived by his sons, Jaren Ironhorse, Andrew Ironhorse, Trevor Bearnose, Justin Little Thunder and River; daughters, Jeanette Ironhorse, Kayla Ironhorse, Ashley Ironhorse, Emliy Ironhorse, Jackie and Payton Bear, Cinnamon Bearnose, and Jamie and Sophia Bear; siblings, Jennifer Iron Teeth, Melanie Iron Teeth, Marvin Iron Teeth, Jerrolyn Bearnose, and Lavita Pumpkin Seed; fiancé, Rhonda Bear; grandchildren, Zion Bearnose, Armando Bearnose, Baby Stan Bearnose, Alvaro Aleman, Jr., Emory Bearnose, Jasmine Ironhorse, Nicholas Ironhorse, Baby Jaren Ironhorse, Mina Ironhorse, and Davis Marshall; his dog, Gaydog Soup; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Bearnose, Jr. and Gloria Red Paint; daughter, Maria Iron Teeth; brother, Norman Bearnose; his first wife, Arvella Iron Horse; second wife, Michelle Black Bull; grandfather, Joseph Bearnose, Sr.; and grandmother, Elizabeth Bush.
Pallbearers will be David Elgin Red Blanket, Todd Randall, Christopher Long Soldier, Trish Black Hawk, Dow Sokava, Matt Waters, Misun Waters, Cody Poor Bear, Teena Long, and Anja Little Hawk.

Wake Services: Two night wake services with the first night starting at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 14, 2024 at the Wakpamni CAP Office near Pine Ridge, SD and the second night starting at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at the TNT Center in Wanblee, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM each night of the wake services.
