Dawes County residents are being reminded that election day is quickly approaching and ballots will be mailed out soon by the Clerk’s Office.
Tuesday afternoon, Dawes County Clerk, Cheryl Feist, released an announcement to Chadrad Communications that the Clerk’s Office will be mailing out 2024 General Election ballots on Wednesday, October 16th. Feist says that although that’s the day ballots are being mailed a delivery time of 2-3 days should be expected by the USPS.
However, if your ballot does not arrive within the 2-3 day time period, you are encouraged to call the Clerk’s Office at (308) 432-0100.
If you have not yet registered to vote, you can do so online at nebraska.gov/apps-sos-voter-registration/ until October 18th, 2024 or in person until October 26th, 2024.
