The RMAC preseason men’s basketball coaches poll came out yesterday and the Chadron State Eagles were picked to finish 15th in the poll. The Eagles come into the season under new head coach Chris Francis and a predominately new roster from last year’s team that finished 12-17 and 9-13 in the RMAC Conference.
Leading the poll is Colorado School of Mines with 11 first place votes while Metro State University-Denver was picked to finish second with two first place votes.
The Eagles will get their season started the weekend of November 8th-9th with a trip to Texas to face Texas A&M International and Texas A&M Kingsville. The home opener for the Eagles will be on Friday November 22nd when they host Sioux Falls.
