Tamara Jon Mesteth was born on September 27, 1986 in Minneapolis, MN to Matthew Mesteth, Jr. and Brenda (Mercado) White Face.  Tamara made her journey to the Spirit World on October 29, 2024 at the Olathe Hospice House in Olathe, KS.  

Tamara is survived by her mother, Brenda White Face; step-father, Manuel White Face both of Porcupine, SD; sons, Jerray Mesteth and RonZaki โ€œTreโ€ Bowden III both of Lawrence, KS; siblings, Arvene Comes Killing of Porcupine, SD, Lola (Chance) Bear Killer and Cindy Mesteth both of Rapid City, SD, Matthew Mesteth III, and Blaine and Leo Kills Back all of Porcupine, SD, Mike Respects Nothing of Manderson, SD, Timothy White Dress of Wounded Knee, SD, and Misti Mesteth of Billings, MT; aunts, Rose (Jose) Lavato, Susan Mercado, Sophie (Lyle) Iron Horn, Gloria Mercado, Rebecca Mercado, Marsha Mercado, Karen Red Elk, Bonita Bear Robe, Eva Mesteth, Gloria No Neck, Erna Shepard, Lolita Sna Mani, Leslie, Lana, and Lucinda Mesteth; uncles, Larry Mercado and Don Mesteth, Sr.; grandmother, Norma Ceron; and honorary siblings, Cheyenne Canku Ota Win of Brooklyn, NE and Brandon Ferguson of Rapid City, SD

Tamara was preceded in death by her sister, Lolita Mesteth; father, Matthew Mesteth, Jr.; grandparents, Cecelia White Dress-Frasier and Larry Mercado, Sr., Georgia Tail, and Matthew Mesteth, Sr.; uncles, Jeff Tail, Tyrone Mesteth, Sr. Dean Andrews, Terrence Mesteth, and Pete Gay; aunts, Mona Mesteth, Darmalee Tail, and Cindy Mercado; cousins, Daryl Little, Paul Mercado, Mercy Mercado-Ramos, Kyle Mesteth, Karen Mesteth, Eric, Harold, Jr., & Ira Brown Bull, Sr., Belleron Blue Bird, TJ & Mike Mesteth, Shilo Pourier, Alexander Shepard, Dean Andrews, Jr.; and special pet companion, Serena.

Wake Services:  Two night wake services with the first night starting at 3:00 PM, Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Evergreen Community Building and the second night starting at 11:00 AM, Sunday, November 10, 2024 at the Porcupine School Gym in Porcupine, SD with evening services starting 6:00 PM each night.   

Funeral Services:  2:00 PM, Monday, November 11, 2024 at the Porcupine School Gym in Porcupine, SD.
