Linn Joseph Cross Dog, Sr. was born on April 6, 1950 in Pine Ridge, SD to Lincoln Cross Dog and Ramona (Janis) Long. Linn made his journey to the Spirit World on November 4, 2024 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Linn is survived by his children, Linn Cross Dog, Jr., Mona Cross Dog, Sue Cross Dog, Charlie Two Bulls, and Cory Tobacco; brothers, Chester Cross Dog, Sr., Ronald Cross Dog, Sr., William Cross Dog, Rex Crow, Ivan Long, David Long, and Samuel Long; sisters, Wanda Cross Dog, Lois Long, Beverly Long-Weston, Missy Long, and Toni Long; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Linn was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Henrietta Cross Dog; mother, Ramona Long; father, Lincoln Cross Dog, Sr.; brothers, Mitchell Long, Milton Long, Lincoln Cross Dog, Jr., Caesar John Cross Dog, and Bradley Cross Dog; sisters, Genevieve Long, Marilyn Deer Cross Dog, and Baby Ester Long; great-great grandchildren, Cowboy Roses Nava, Baby Bagola, Baby Garnett, and Baby Kenny Two Dogs.
Pallbearers will be Sonny Cross Dog, Megan Two Dogs, Tracie Cross Dog, Christopher Two Dogs, Kiaya Cross Dog, Morgan Nava, Kaden Yellow Horse, Cruz Nava, Harley Cross Dog, Linn Cross Dog III, Henrietta Nava, Justin Mousseaux, Shayne Mousseau, Gary Garnett, and Mitchell Bagola.
