Jorden Michell Poor Bear was born on January 25, 1991 in Pine Ridge, SD to Tina Poor Bear and Mike Buckman. Jorden made her journey to the Spirit World on November 11, 2024 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Jorden attended most of her school years at Pine Ridge School and completed her G.E.D. from Oglala Lakota College in 2012. Jorden always had a big, beautiful smile and was friendly to all. She enjoyed playing volleyball, singing, and hanging out with her friends. She will always be remembered by her beautiful smile and crazy laugh.
Jorden is survived by her mother, Tina M. Buckman; daughter, Riley Poor Bear; sons, Tony Black Crow, Jordan Pond and Levi Poor Bear; siblings, Britany, Bridgette, Julian, Jessie and Shiotah Buckman; uncles, Francis, Aaron, Erik, Isaiah, and Daniel Poor Bear; aunts, Julie Poor Bear and Miriam Jealous Of Him; and special friend, Victor Rivera.
Jorden happily joins her grandparents, MacArthur and Mary Belle Poor Bear; her daughter, Precious Pond; son, Treyson Poor Bear; dad, Mike Buckman; uncles, Mike and Teddy Poor Bear; aunts, Marsha Fast Horse, April Leftwich, Bessie Poor Bear, and Irene Poor Bear.
