Reynold Richard, Sr. was born on July 29, 1955 in Pine Ridge, SD to Bernard Richard, Sr. and Mollie Standing Soldier-Richard. Reynold made his journey to the Spirit World on November 23, 2024 at the Rosebud IHS Hospital in Rosebud, SD.
Reynold is survived by his sisters, Millie Vela (Visalia, CA), Lucy Moreno(Bakersfield, CA), Darlene Soto (Albuquerque, NM), Bernadine Richards (Phoenix, AZ), Carol Garcia (Louisville, TX), Ramona Smith (Paris, TX); brothers, Bernard Richards (Marting, SD), Don Prall (Torrington, WY); children, Devin Richards, Wayne Richards, Reynold Richards, Jr.; spouse, Rose Leading Fighter; and grandchildren, Selena Richards, Deyjah Apple, Meriah Richards, Benny Two Elk, and Beno Gareau.
Reynold was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Richard, Sr.; mother, Mollie Standing Soldier-Richards; adopted mother, Angeline Black Eyes; sisters, Goldie Calderone, Rachel Richards, Clara Richards; brothers, Larry Richards and William “Bill” Richards; and adopted sister, Paula Black Eyes and Clydine Black Eyes, and Charlotte Black Eyes.
Pallbearers will be Tristan Conquering Bear, Aloysious Mousseaux, Devin Richards, Jamall Richards, Jerry Richards, Earl Richards, Jr., and Brandon Richards.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bernard Richards, Don Prall, Mike Richards, Germaine Moves Camp & Family, all Quiver Families, Kyle & Gina Clown & Family, and All Friends & Relatives.
Wake Services: Two night wake service starting at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at the LaCreek CAP in Martin, SD with Evening services starting at 7:00 PM. Military Roll Call to follow after services.
Funeral Services: 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the LaCreek CAP in Martin, SD.
