Eagle Men To Face Two Regionally Ranked Teams

CHADRON, Neb. โ€“ After a 1-1 week to open RMAC play, Chadron State men’s basketball will hit the road to play conference games for the first time in 2024-25. 

The Eagles (4-5, 1-1 RMAC) travel to CSU Pueblo (7-1, 2-0 RMAC) on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. before facing off against UCCS (5-3, 1-1 RMAC) on Saturday at 3 p.m. Both the ThunderWolves and the Mountain Lions are currently ranked in the D2CSC South Central regional rankings.

Looking Back

The Eagles were on opposite ends of 20-point margins in their first week of RMAC play, defeating South Dakota Mines 84-56 in the conference opener before falling 89-69 to Black Hills State.

Three Eagles scored in double figures in each game, with Darrius Miles (18), Jalen Thomas (14) and Julio Phipps (14) doing so against the Hardrockers and John Jenkins (19), Zach Smith (16) and Dalton Petersen (10) doing so against BHSU.
