SWANN will be burning the BRUSH PIT on January 7th, 2025, beginning early in the morning, at the Chadron Transfer Station. With favorable weather conditions, SWANN transfer station will be lighting the brush pit, which could burn for several days. This allows for SWANN to make room for future incoming brush/limbs/trees. It should be noted – this is not trash that is being/will be burned. Appropriate burn permits were obtained through the Chadron Fire Department to proceed with this effort.
