Laila Lynn Spencer was born October 3, 2004, in Pine Ridge, SD to Robert L. Jumping Eagle III and Crynthia “Cis” Clifford. Laila made her journey to the Spirit World on January 15, 2025 near Kyle, SD.
Laila was the first born daughter of Robert Jumping Eagle II & Crynthia “Cis” Clifford. Laila was an old soul. She was quiet and very reserved. Laila was a protector of her family and was a loving girl. A big kid at heart and was a Mama’s girl. She will be loved and cherished by many!
Laila is survived by her mother, Crynthia “Cis” Clifford; paternal step-father, Robert “Buck” Spencer; maternal sister, Virginia Spencer; maternal brother, Robert Lee Jumping Eagle IV; maternal grandparents, Debra Cuny & William “Gus” Clifford; paternal grandmother, Alvira Twiss; maternal aunts, Sugar & Lela Bear Runner & Billie Jo Clifford; maternal uncle, Jay-R Clifford; paternal uncle, Tyler Clifford; paternal aunts, Brittany Clifford and Denise Jumping Eagle; and numerous cousins, nieces, & nephews.
Laila was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Jumping Eagle III; paternal grandparent, Robert “Bimbo” Jumping Eagle; maternal great grandparents, Willard Cuny & Mercy Cuny; maternal uncles, Mike, Frank, & David Cuny; great grandfather, Darwin “Dooch” Clifford; and maternal cousin, Gary “Gare Bear” Bear Runner.
