Josephine Mary Isham was born on February 18, 1972 in Rapid City, SD to Joseph Isham, Sr. and Evelyn (Never Misses A Shot) Isham. Josephine made her journey to the Spirit World on January 20, 2025 near Vivian, SD.
Josephine is survived by her mother, Evelyn Isham; children, Josephine Hedrick-Romano, George Guerue III, Alun Guerue, and Kobe Oliver; brothers, Joseph Isham, Jr., Anthony Iron Shell, Jr., Malcolm Little Brave, and Scirgio Iron Shell; sister, Rena Grant and Natcherlie Hairy Shirt; grandchildren, Julez Leader Charge, Joshua Henderson, Jianna Guerue, Carson Guerue, Akayla Guerue, Morning Star Guerue, Serafina Olive Guerue, Ramona Rose Guerue, Thadius Guerue, Alex Guerue, and Cataleya Oliver; and aunts, Pauline Poor Bear, Wanda Poor Bear, Bernice New, and Maryann Garcia.
Josephine was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Isham, Sr.; son, Joey Oliver; brothers, Reginald Little Brave, Jr. and Robert Isham, Sr.;; sister, Alicia Isham; maternal grandparents, John Never Misses A Shot and Armine Coleman; paternal grandparents, Robert L. Isham, Sr. and Mary Alice Sound Sleeper; uncle, Cleveland Never Misses A Shot, Sr.; and aunts, Marie Never Misses A Shot and Nida Kills In Sight.
