Gwendolyn Louise Herman was born on August 31, 1947 in Wagner, SD to Theodore Isaac Felix and Vivian Katherine Campbell-Felix. Gwen made her journey to the Spirit World on January 27, 2025 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Gwen is survived by her brother, Theodore โ€œTedโ€ Felix (Ruth Relix); daughter, Teddie Rae Herman; son, Harvey (Jay) W. Herman, Jr.; grandchildren, Harvey โ€œJaycobโ€ W. Herman, III, Jayden C. Herman, Katherine โ€œTootieโ€ P. Felix-Vanderwege(Dean Vanderwege), Raechel D. Herman (Bradley Baldwin), Ariana J. Herman-Waln, and Summer Felix; great-grandchildren, Macen Star Boy, Dean โ€œJJโ€ Bear Looks Back-Vanderwege, Jr., Isabelle Manzo, Graeson Bear Looks Back-Vanderwege, and Hollyn Bear Looks Back-Vanderwege; nephews, Darren Felix and Mark Felix; and other numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and Relatives. 

Gwen was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Isaac Felix; mother, Vivian Katherine Campbell-Felix; brother, Kenneth Earl Felix; grandson, Stetson Bear Looks Back; grandfather, Charlie Campbell; grandmother, Julia โ€œWalks Windwardโ€ Feather; and great grandfather, Chief Feather Necklace.

Urn bearer will be Jayden Charles Herman

Wake Services: One night wake service starting at 2:30 PM, CST, Friday, January 31, 2025 at the Father Paul Hall in Mission, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM, CST.

Funeral Services: 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the Father Paul Hall in Mission, SD
