Ramon Dewey Bear Runner II was born on December 8, 1981, in Pine Ridge, SD to Ramon Dewey Bear Runner and Patricia Diane Iron Cloud. Ramon made his journey to the Spirit World on January 26, 2025 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Ramon “Bear” was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Diane Iron Cloud; maternal grandparents, Seth Iron Cloud and Ruby Redwing-Iron Cloud; paternal grandparents, Oscar Bear Runner and Grace Rock-Bear Runner; uncle, David Iron Cloud; and sister, Mariah “Miss” Bear Runner.
Ramon “Bear” is survived by his son, Justus Bear Runner of Pennsylvania; father, Ramon Dewey Bear Runner; and siblings, Stephanie Ainsworth, Jesse Bear Runner, Justin Bear Runner, Rosalyn Bear Runner, Lela Bear Runner, Deanna Bear Runner, Apalonia Bear Runner, Makoce Bear Runner, and Brett “Seth” Iron Cloud.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Bear Runner, Cante Heart, Justin Bear Runner, Jenny Iron Cloud, Cody Iron Cloud, Makoce Bear Runner, Cy Black Horn, and Stephanie Ainsworth.
