Hemingford Public Schools sent out a press release to announce that Mr. Joshua Redden has been named their High School Principal beginning with the 2025-2026 academic year.
โI look forward to continuing to build strong relationships with students, staff, and the entire community of Hemingford in this new role,โ Redden said. โBy fostering these relationships, I believe we can succeed at reaching new heights of academic and extra-curricular excellence at Hemingford High School.โ

Mr. Redden steps into this role with a wealth of educational and business expertise, holding a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, a Master of Business Administration from Chadron State College, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Black Hills State University.
Hemingford’s Superintendent, Dr. Travis Miller, was also enthusiastic about the hiring saying he “look(s) forward to Mr. Reddenโs leadership in our school district. Mr. Redden brings various experiences in education and the business world to the principalship. He has taught nearly every student in the high school and brings a baseline of quality relationships and insights to the position. Mr. Redden is enthusiastic and realistic about the opportunities for our staff and students. He is already engaging in transition activities to prepare for a successful start to the 2025-2026 school year. I look forward to working with Mr. Redden and the rest of our school team and community as we strive for ever higher levels of success for Bobcat Nation.”
As High School Principal, Mr. Redden will work closely with students, faculty, staff, and parents to further strengthen the academic and extracurricular offerings at Hemingford High School. His commitment to student success will serve as a strong foundation to support the continued growth and achievements of students at Hemingford High School.
