Chadron Police Report

Loading

It’s been a rather steady week for the Chadron Police Department these past few days. Besides being hard at work with reports and patrols, the PD has had one arrest and a hit and run auto accident.

According to Chadron Police Chief Rick Hickstein, his officers reported to a non-injury auto accident shortly after noon on Tuesday for what turned out to be a hit and run. There are no suspects at this time and no citations or arrests have yet been made.

Chadron officers also made an arrest shortly after the lunch bell Tuesday afternoon. Chief Hickstein says one of his officers arrested a 21 year old male on a Dawes County warrant at the 500 block of E 10th Street. The individual was booked at the Dawes County Jail.

The Chadron PD also reminds the public that they can always contact the non emergency line at 308-432-0510 with questions on any city ordinances, including ones pertaining to snow removal and pet licenses.
