Funeral services for 66-year old Minerva Wilcox are Tuesday, Nov 9, 2021 at noon at the Little Wound House of Prayer in Kyle, SD, with Pastor Kim Montileaux officiating.
Cremation will follow the services.
A one-night wake service starts Monday, Nov 8, at noon at the Little Wound House of Prayer in Kyle, SD.
Minerva Jane Wilcox was born on March 27, 1955 in Pine Ridge, SD to Willard and Mary (No Neck) Kills In Water. Minerva made her journey to the Spirit World on October 28, 2021 at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD.
Minerva is survived by her spouse, Floyd Wilcox; daughters, Kayla (Aaron) Carson, Tamaria (Chance) Wilcox, and Cassandra Hamel; brothers, Dale (Mable) One Horn, Ervin (Emmaline) One Horn, Craig (Tobi) Kills In Water, and Dwight (Vanessa) Kills In Water; sister, Nanette Kills In Water; grandchildren, Storm, Story, CD, Rory, James, Julius, Rylee, Stirling, Waylon, Jr., Hawkley, and Tory Jayne; and great grandchildren, Ariella MaeLeen and Aylani Raine.
Minerva was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Mary Kills In Water; brothers, Lewis One Horn and Willard Kills In Water; paternal grandparents, Samuel & Lucy (Black Bear) Kills In Water; and maternal grandparents, Peter & Jesse (Little Bull) No Neck.
Pallbearers will be Storm Wilcox, Aaron Kills In Water, William Thunder Horse, Cody Kills In Water, Tajan Kills In Water, and LaDanien Kills In Water.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
