Rapid City police say 2 men were shot to death in a North Rapid City apartment about yesterday morning with 3 “persons of interest” being sought.
Police say 20-year old Chase Quick Bear, 15-year old Rochelle Janis, both of Rapid City, and 17-year old Robert Yellow Bird should be considered armed and that anyone seeing them should not approach them but instead contact authorities
Yellow Bird is also wanted for questioning about a shooting this past Wednesday that left another teenager wounded.
Rapid City Police Spokesman Brendyn Medina said yesterday afternoon that reports of shots fired at an apartment were received about 7:40 am with officers finding two adult males dead of gunshot wounds.
Medina says the investigation is ongoing and that in addition to Quick Bear, Janis, and Yellow Bird, police are looking for a beige Ford Taurus X seen leaving the scene of the shooting.
