The Chadron High softball team moved to 7-4 on the season with a 5-1 win over Gering on Tuesday evening.
Kinley Richardson and Meradith Rhembrandt each drove in a pair of RBI’s. Maci Rutledge was solid in the circle by striking out 6 and giving up a lone walk.
The Cards put up 3 runs in the 3rd and followed by single runs in the 5th and 6th innings. Gering’s only run came on an RBI single in the bottom of the 7th.
Chadron is at the Twin City Invite in Gering on Saturday.
