The Chadron High boys and girls basketball teams each rolled to 40 point wins over Hemingford on Tuesday night.
The Chadron girls bolted out to a 47-6 halftime lead before walking away with a 57-14 win. The Cardinals hit 8 three pointers in winning their 3rd straight to climb to 6-6 on the season.
Demi Ferguson tallied a game high 13 points and Marlee Pinnt added 10.
The Cardinal boys went back and forth with Hemingford for the first four minutes of the opening quarter but finished on a 7-0 and that was the jumpstart that pushed Chadron to a 69-22 victory. Just like the Chadron girls, the boys buried 8 threes and are now above .500 at 6-5.
Gage Wild had 18 points to top all scorers Brady Daniels chipped in 13. Xander Rust had a career high 10.
Chadron will hit the road for Alliance on Friday.
