The Gordon-Rushville boys and girls basketball teams will play for Western Trails Conference championships after collecting wins on Friday.
The Mustang girls defeated Bayard 59-50 in the semifinals and earned a date with top seeded Bridgeport who ran by Mitchell 68-27. Bayard and Mitchell will play for the 3rd.
The top seeded Gordon-Rushville boys held off Mitchell 62-45 and will face Kimball who snuck out a 62-58 victory over Bridgeport on the other side of the bracket. Mitchell and Bridgeport will square off in the boys 3rd place game.
