Chadron High girls basketball coach Eric Calkins is stepping away after two seasons of leading the program.
Calkins led the Cardinals to a 23-24 record over the last two years and took them to the top seed in the C1-12 sub-district tournament in 2021-22.
Calkins led the Chadron High boys basketball team for seven seasons from 2011 to 2018 and led the Cardinals to the state tournament in 2015 followed by a district runner-up finish in 2017.
His record at Chadron High sits at 95-110.
Assistant coach CJ Bach is stepping down as well after assisting Calkins the past two seasons.
