Lenora Mae Angel was born on Feb 26, 1965 in Pine Ridge, SD to Joseph Galligo-Angel and Adelia Afraid of Hawk. Lenora made her journey to the Spirit World on March 13, 2023 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Lenora is survived by her daughters Jessica White Butterfly, Delila Angel, and Gabrielle Angel, all of Rapid City, Anna Angel and Katrina White Butterfly, both of Manderson; sons Channing White Butterfly of Rapid City and Nolan White Butterfly of Manderson; sisters Iris Angel, Norma Thunder Hawk, and Bernadine Thunder Hawk, all of Denver, CO, and Geraldine Fire Thunder of Manderson; brothers Clement Angel of Denver, CO and Roger and Randy Thunder Hawk, both of Rockyford, SD; grandchildren Leanna Jumping Eagle, Daja White Butterfly, Roseanna & Roxanna Angel, Dre Angel, Hazel Angel, Ciara Angel, Keagan Angel, Bryce & Rylee White Butterfly, Catalina White Butterfly, Ritchie & Jaylee Chase Alone, and Corbin Jumping Eagle; and great-grandchildren Tayton Lee White Hawk and Julia Grace White Butterfly.
Lenora was preceded in death by her significant other Yolande Ghost; parents Adelia & Joseph Galligo-Angel; daughter Larissa White Butterfly; sons Tristan and Charles White Butterfly; grandchildren Jadelynn Twiss and Jaylen Twiss; uncle Daniel Afraid of Hawk; aunt Vicky Afraid of Hawk; niece Diana Thompson; and nephew “Lil’ Ray” Afraid of Hawk.
Pallbearers will be Nolan White Butterfly, Andy Jumping Eagle, Sergio Castillo, Davis Ghost, Channing White Butterfly, Johnny Fire Thunder, Jesse Luke White Hawk and Kevin Fire Thunder.
