Funeral services for 78-year old Clarence Walking Eagle II are Tues, April 25, 2023 at 10:00 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD, with traditional Lakota services by Joe Swift Bird
Cremation will follow the services with cremation at a later date.
A one-night wake service starts Monday, April 24, at 2:00 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge.

Clarence Bryan Walking Eagle II was born on January 11, 1945 in Omaha, NE to Clarence Walking Eagle Sr and Lorraine Caroline High Pine-Eastman. Clarence II made his journey to the Spirit World on April 11, 2023 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Clarence is survived by his daughters Laurentia L Walking Eagle, Arvella Wanbli Luta, Stephanie Little Bear, Rustee Walking Eagle, Maria Walking Eagle, Lorraine Walking Eagle, Danielle Walking Eagle, and A Starr Walking Eagle; sons Christopher V Walking Eagle, Marvin Hernandez, Christopher B Walking Eagle, Bryan L Walking Eagle, Edward Walking Eagle, and Brian B Walking Eagle; grandchildren Tamekia Walking Eagle, Shelli Walking Eagle, Kiaya Walking Eagle, Tierney Red Hawk, Teawney Walking Eagle, Kellie Walking Eagle, and Jade Walking Eagle; special granddaughter ZaMora Walking Eagle; grandchildren Ali’jandra Walking Eagle, Xander Walking Eagle, K’houri Walking Eagle, Kyriss Walking Eagle, Chrza Walking Eagle, and Davion Walking Eagle; and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Clarence was preceded in death by the love of his life, Beverly Colhoff; baby girl Clarinda M Walking Eagle; grandsons Shawn Douglas Ray Walking Eagle and Gage Louis Walking Eagle; mother Lorraine C High Pine-Eastman; father Clarence Walking Eagle Sr; niece Melanie Walking Eagle; and best bud Wayne Trueblood Sr.
