Unfinished Business of the Preceding Meetings:

  1. Discuss/approve/disapprove Mayor’s first recommendation for council member, Christopher Dean

New Business:

  1. Accept resignation letter from Planning Commission Board member – Christopher Dean and advertise to fill the open position on the board.
  1. Discuss/approve/disapprove purchasing sand for the volleyball and horseshoe pits for the 4th of July festivities  
  1. Discuss/approve/disapprove Frontier Bar and Restaurant to remain open until 2:00 am for July 4th (a.m. of July 5th)
  1. Discuss/approve/disapprove purchase of golf ball washer and range balls.
  1. Discuss/approve/disapprove bill from Ron Pelton 
  1. Discuss/approve/disapprove purchase and installation of central air conditioning for City Hall
  1. Discuss/approve/disapprove appointment of Health Board which would include the Mayor, Council President, nurse, Fire Chief or designated representative from the Department. 
  1. Discuss/approve/disapprove hiring J & M Associates for accounting practices in preparation for Budget.  Pricing is $60 per hour per person.
  1. Update from Panhandle Area Development District – Amy Sapp, Regional Planner 
  1. Discuss/approve/disapprove advertising for a new street supervisor up to $27.50 per hr
  1. Discuss/approve/disapprove increase in wages for returning pool lifeguards: (.25 increase for each year returned) 

3rd year return – Kylah Vogel – suggested increase to $12.75 per hr

4th year returns – Mahayla Allred and Carly Lemmon – suggested increase to $13.00 per hr

  1. Discuss/approve/disapprove new hire for park & cemetery seasonal help:

Tommy Goddard/part-time seasonal at $12.00 an hour

  1. Scott DeBock – Requirements to legally be Crawford Mayor
  1. Approve bills and claims, requisition orders and transfers
