Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen is inviting everyone in the Chadron area to join him this morning at 11:30 in the Chadron State College Student Center for a Town Hall Meeting.
Pillen, completing his first 6 months in office, will talk about highlights from the recently-concluded 2023 legislative session, then will take questions.
The governor’s Chadron stop is part of a 2-day, 6-stop fly-around to communities in the central and western parts of the state.
Yesterday, he held Town Halls in Holdrege and O’Neill while also taking part in groundbreaking ceremonies for a new fertilizer plant in Gothenburg.
His schedule today has 3 Town Halls – 9:30 CT in North Platte, the 11:30 session in Chadron, and the last at 1:30 in Ogallala. All are open to the public.
