      Today is the first day of the 111th Fall River County Fair in Edgemont, but like our other area fairs the schedule starts slowly and builds toward the closing day.
This year’s theme for the Fall River County Fair is Let’s Stirrup Some Fun!
This morning is entry time for Open Class Quilt exhibits while most 4-H Static Exhibits and Cloverbuds Displays will be judged between 2:00 and 6:00, although Eggs, Wool, and Rockets will be judged tomorrow.
Early Open Class entries will be accepted tonight from 5:00-7:30, but the evening focus is the Junior Jackpot Playday at the arena. It begins at 5:30 with free attendance.
      The All-Around, True Grit, and Clay Schnose Awards will be presented at the end of the Junior Rodeo.
