Lucas Ash Apple was born on January 2, 2001 in Pine Ridge, SD to Mark Apple and Jody Shangreaux. Lucas made his journey to the Spirit World on August 5, 2023 in Kyle, SD.
Lucas is survived by his mother, Jody Shangreaux; father, Mark Apple; brothers, Donte Shangreaux, Jesse Shangreaux, Caden Mesteth, Cruz Apple, Nehemiah Apple, Jayseon Apple, Marcelo Apple, and Cory Apple; sisters, Jonna Shangreaux, Melina Shangreaux, and Amelia Apple; paternal grandfather, Marvin Apple; and maternal grandmother, Beverly Gay.
Lucas was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne Shangreaux, Joe Shangreaux, and Lorna Apple; uncles, Elroy Shangreaux, Clarence Janis, and Dale Janis; and aunt, Theresa Apple.
Pallbearers will be Robert Shangreaux, Larry Shangreaux, Sarah Shangreaux, Clarissa Shangreaux, Ota Blue Horse, Kimberly Apple, Crystal Apple, Dylan Iron Crow, Osceola Blue Horse, Jr., and Harry Young.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
