Byron Louis Roach, Jr. was born on January 31, 1967 in Rapid City, SD to Byron Louis Roach, Sr. and Marletta Pacheco. Byron, Jr. sadly left us on August 2, 2023 following cardiac arrest at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD. He was a caring father, grandpa, brother, uncle, minister, and friend. He passed away suddenly at age 56.
Byron spent his time with those he loved whether it was with his grandchildren, people from his church, or the friends he made along the way. For his grandkids, he was a dependable and thoughtful figure that encouraged them through thick and thin. He was a very skilled athlete in many sports but was most passionate about boxing and softball. After earning multiple boxing titles, he transitioned to coaching others.
In addition to his active lifestyle, Byron was a devoted man of faith. He always placed Jesus Christ first and actively incorporated scripture into his life, encouraging others to do the same. He was someone who not only cared for his immediate and extended family but one who often made his friends a part of his family. Byron was known for protecting others, always ensuring their safety, he was very encouraging, often reminding others of their value, and he was incredibly loyal.
