Emmaline Maria Roan Eagle was born on August 11, 1970 in Pine Ridge, SD to Roger Dale Roan Eagle and Irene Young Dog. Emmaline made her journey to the Spirit World on August 5, 2023 in Portland, OR.
Emma is survived by her sons, Vincent DuBray, Marlyn Black, Jr., Marvin Black, and Marty Black; special friend, Marlyn Black, Sr.; and siblings, Roger Roan Eagle, Jr., Travis Roan Eagle, Crystal Roan Eagle, Bernadette Roan Eagle, Latoya (Roan Eagle) Gonzalez, and Francelia Little John; aunts, Roberta Yellow Horse, Barbara Dull Knife, Delmaire Bradfield, Angeline Roan Eagle, Trivean Roan Eagle, Claudia LaPointe, Brenda, Elizabeth, and Adele Red Bull, Pam Crow, Nancy Rouillard, Virginia Irving, Simone Little Hawk, Sonia Weston, Mona, Delores, and Connie Little Hawk; uncles, Calvin Yellow Horse, Sr., Alan Yellow Horse, Sr., Claire and Verdell Bear Saves Life, Norton Little Spotted Horse, James Red Bull, Marvin Young Dog, Myron Young Dog-Shield, Amos Young Dog, Jr., and Marvin and Howard Little Hawk; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren.
