Cody-Kilgore improved to 4-2 on the gridiron with a shutout over Crawford Friday night.
The Cowboys earned a 44-0 victory in Rams territory to drop Crawford to 2-3 on the year.
The Crawford volleyball girls have also been busy in the last week but have suffered several losses to drop to 0-17. Perkins County defeated the Lady Rams 25-17, 25-9 Sept. 23, and Potter-Dix posted a pair of 25-11 to take the Rams at the same tournament. Morrill swept Crawford Sept. 26 25-19, 25-8, 25-8, and Cody-Kilgore also defeated the Rams. Crawford wrapped up the week Sept. 30 with a loss to Hay Springs at the Morrill Invite. The Hawks won 25-12, 25-21 and were led by Mya Turman with eight kills, half of the team’s total in the match. Turman and Gabby Twarling also landed two ace serves each.
