A two-night wake service starts Sunday, Oct 1, at 2:30 at the Iron Horse residence in Wanblee with evening services each night at 7:00
Jarrod Thomas Iron Horse was born on December 8, 1975 in Pine Ridge, SD to Marvin Iron Horse and Lavina Between Lodges. Jarrod made his journey to the Spirit World on September 21, 2023 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Jarrod is survived by his special friend Trudine Moves Camp; children Kimberly Iron Horse, Wo’kpe Iron Horse, Wiwita Moves Camp, Ashley Iron Horse, Jeanette Iron Horse, Kayla Iron Horse, Emily Iron Horse, Tonia Mendez, Cinnimon Bear Nose, Mickie Waldner, Wendy Cross, and Bessie Iron Horse; sons Rowdy Iron Horse, Racen Moves Camp, Andrew Iron Horse, Jessie Andrews, Trevor Bear Nose, and Noah Iron Horse; sisters Jacquelyn Waldner and Woniya Herrera; grandchildren Kellen Iron Horse, Khloe Iron Horse, Alice Starr, Ariella Starr, Calypso Iron Horse, Abaddon Iron Horse, and Everett Iron Horse; nieces & nephews Jeanette Iron Horse, Ashley Iron Horse, Kayla Iron Horse, Emily Iron Horse, Noah Iron Horse, Trevor Bear Nose, Cinnamon Bear Nose, Tonia Mendez, Mickie Waldner, Wendy Cross, and Andy Iron Horse; and numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Jarrod was preceded in death by his parents Marvin Iron Horse and Lavina Between Lodges; son Roan Iron Horse; grandson Leo Starr; brother Leon Little Killer; and siblings Arvella Iron Horse, James Iron Horse, and Victor Iron Horse.
Pallbearers will be Spring Crazy Bear, Preston Hawkins, Mason Hawkins, Wylie Brewer, Andy Her Many Horses, and Austin Star.
