The Chadron High softball team earned district runner-up honors for the 2nd straight year as they dropped the C-3 district championship by scores of 14-2 and 15-1 to Wahoo Bishop Neumann on Friday.
The Cardinals pair of runs in the first contest came off of Cavaliers errors, while a Josslyn Pourier solo home run was Chadron’s only run of the second game.
Chadron will wrap up the season with a 13-14 record and claim the C-10 sub-district title for a 2nd straight season.
Bishop Neumann advances to the state tournament in Hastings for the 9th time in the last 10 seasons.
