Garrett Rae Hodson was born in Gordon, NE, on June 20, 2000, to Kevin and Kaye Hodson. Garrett left us on Friday, Oct 13th, 2023, in Denver, CO.

The youngest of four children, Garrett was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He filled his life with being a Marine and a hardworking rancher, and was working towards becoming a diesel mechanic when he died.

He graduated in 2028 from Bennett County High School, where he qualified for the state track meet all 4 years. His favorite event was the 110 high hurdles.

After serving in the Marines, Garrett returned to Hodson Ranch for a year before deciding to pursue further education to become a diesel mechanic at Lincoln Technical College in Denver, CO. Garrett was a student there at the time of his death.

Garrett had a wonderful sense of humor. He was always quick with a witty comment or joke and had the ability to quickly make friends everywhere he went.

He loved spending time with his family and friends, and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Garrett is survived by his parents Kevin and Kaye Hodson; siblings John Hodson (wife Janaya), Laura Hauser (husband Zach), and Keith Hodson (wife KeAnna); and niece and nephews Kierra Hodson, Kal Hodson, and Carson Hauser.
