The Chadron High volleyball team rolled Sidney on Monday night in the semifinals of the C1-12 sub-district tournament 25-23, 25-18, 19-25, 25-13 to advance to tonight’s final.
The Cardinals will face Gordon-Rushville who upset top seeded Bridgeport 26-24, 25-17, 19-25, 24-26, 16-14.
Gordon-Rushville took down Mitchell in the opener 27-25, 18-25, 25-13, 22-25, 15-11.to get into the semi’s.
Tonight’s final between the Cardinals and Mustangs will get underway at 6:00 pm at Bridgeport. The winner advances to district championship round on Saturday.
Top seeded Hay Springs got past Crawford 25-21, 25-22, 25-16 in one semifinal of the D2-12 tourney in Hay Springs. Sioux County and Cody-Kilgore matched up in the other semifinal and Cody-Kilgore won in 4 sets.
Hay Springs plays Cody-Kilgore at 6:00 pm tonight in the championship match with the winner moving to this weekend’s district championship matches.
