The NSAA officially released their volleyball district final match ups on Wednesday evening and now both Chadron and Hay Springs know what stands between them and a state tournament berth.
The Cardinals are the 14th seed in C1 and will square off with 3rd seeded Gothenburg on Saturday. Chadron swept the Swedes in a district final back in 2015, but were defeated 2-0 this season by Gothenburg at their own invite.
Chadron hasn’t been to the state tournament since 2019.

Hay Springs is the 16th seed in D2 and will meet top seeded Cambridge at Perkins County on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
It’s the 2nd straight year for the Hawks in a district championship game. They’re looking for their first trip to Lincoln since 2010.
