Chadron High’s Maci Rutledge will continue her softball career at William Penn University in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
Rutledge helped guide Chadron to back to back sub-district titles as well as consecutive appearances in a district final series. She was also the Cardinals ace in the circle this past season with 42 strikeouts.
William Penn, known as the Statesmen, competes in NAIA in the Heart of America Conference.
Last season the Statesmen went 19-29 and are under the direction of 2nd year head coach Laura North.
