Herbert Hyde Clifford Jr was born on Sept 6, 1953 in Pine Ridge, SD to Herbert Clifford Sr and Jessie (McGaa) Clifford. Herbert Jr made his journey to the Spirit World on Nov 11, 2023 at his home near Kyle, SD.
Herbert is survived by his daughters Tonya and Tisha Clifford of Minneapolis, MN; brothers Ralph Clifford of Evansville, WI, Willard Clifford Sr of Martin, SD, Francis (Susan) Clifford of Valier, MT, and Adam (Leslie) Clifford of Kyle, SD; sisters Charlotte Young of Grand Prairie, TX, Susie Justus of Martin, SD, and Anna (Mike) Pulkrabek of Black Hawk, SD; many nieces & nephews who loved their Uncle Herbert, as well as many grandchildren who loved their grandpa Herbert and many, many, cousins, relatives, and good friends throughout the territory.
Herbert was preceded in death by his parents Herbert Hyde Clifford Sr and Jessie Marie (McGaa) Clifford; brothers Carl Clifford and James “Jim” Blaine Clifford III; sisters Anita Clair, also known as Sister Bernadette, Ellen Wilson Stephen, Emma June Clifford, and Sharon Rose Clifford.
Pallbearers will be Walt “Pepper” Martinez, Mary Kate Martinez, William Gay, Steffon Hamel, Jaden Stephens, Alaina Clifford, Loretta Ferguson, and Jesse Clifford.
