Chadron State College had 10 football players named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Conference 1st-Team, 2nd-Team, or Honorable Mention.

            Named 1st-Team Defense were Linemen Hunter O’Connor of Broomfield, CO, and Tanner True of Eaton, CO. Both are juniors. Recognized as 1st-Team Offense were sophomore Wide Receiver Tommy Thomas of Fort Collins, CO, and Lineman Michael DeCamillis, a senior of Westminster, CO.Â

            O’Connor and True combined for 89 total tackles, 25.5 tackles for loss including 11.5 sacks, 11 quarterback hurries, 2 forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. O’Connor is making his second appearance on the 1st-Team list after combining with teammate Tayven Bray to put up similar marks last year. This is True’s first time on the 1st Team.

            Thomas continued to improve after a breakout freshman season. He caught 56 passes for 931 yards and 10 touchdowns, all team highs, while adding another score and 42 yards rushing. Thomas also a vital member of CSC’s special teams with a team-high 15 punt returns for 128 yards while also return 5 kickoffs for 86 yards.

            DeCamillis was a Super Senior 5-year starter, including all 11 games this year at center, helping the CSC offense average more than 130 yards per game rushing, ranking the Eagles 7th in the RMAC.

          Two Eagles made 2nd-Team All-RMAC on special teams: punter/holder Brodie Eisenbraun of Sturgis, SD, and kicker Wilson Yee of Littleton, CO, while Tight End Peter Krohn of Fort Collins, CO, was CSC’s other 2nd-Teamer.
Eisenbraun averaged 41 yards on 57 this season and scored a touchdown against Colorado School of Mines. Yee was 10-15 on field goals, including 2-4 from beyond 50 yards. He set a new school for longest field goal at 61 yards, breaking the old mark of 57 yards set by CSC Hall of Famer Aaron Turner in 2000 and tied twice in the same game last year by Gunnar Jones. Krohn caught 19 passes for 176 yards and 4 touchdowns.

         Chadron State placed 3 on the Honorable Mention list, all on defense. Linebackers Joey Geil, senior of Casper, WY, and Xavier Harrell junior of Highlands Ranch, CO, were CSC’s 1 and 2 tacklers with a combined 136 total tackles, 11 tackles for loss including 4.5 sacks, 1 interception, 4 quarterback hurries, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery.
Safety Dax Yeradi junior of Wright, WY, ended the season with 53 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions and 1 forced fumble.Â

Colorado School of Mines swept the RMAC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Year with quarterback John Matocha, linebacker Nolan Reeve, and punter Blake Doud.
CSU-Pueblo had the RMAC Offensive and Defensive Freshman of the Year with linebacker Senon Chapple and offensive lineman Gary Seidenberger. Elected Coach of the Year was Jas Bains of Western Colorado, a former Chadron State assistant,.
