  American and state flags across the country will fly at half-staff from sunrise today to sunset on Wednesday to honor former First Lady Rosalynn Carter.
      President Joe Biden issued the initial proclamation with the nation’s governors following suit.
Mrs Carter passed away on the 21st at age 96. Her funeral and burial are scheduled for Wednesday.
