Game And Parks Asking The Public For Info On Thefts At Chadron State Park, Box Butte SRA

     Nebraska Game and Parks is asking the public for information about some recent break-ins and thefts at Chadron State Park and Box Butte State Recreation Area.

     Game and Parks Northwest District Law Enforcement Supervisor Lt Dan Kling says tools and materials valued in the thousands of dollars have vanished from different locations at the two parks.

        Lt Kling is asking anyone who has seen suspicious activity at Chadron State Park or at Box Butte Reservoir to contact a Game and Parks conservation officer or the Chadron dispatch center at 308-432-0510. 

      Kling says those with information may also fill out a form online at the Wildlife Crimestoppers website at outdoornebraska.gov or call the Wildlife Crimestoppers hotline at 1-800-742-7627. Tips may remain anonymous.
