Marvin Yellow Hair was born on April 19, 1950 at home in Wakpamni, SD, to Leo Yellow Hair and Almarie (Two Lance) Yellow Hair. Marvin made his journey to the Spirit World on April 28, 2024 at the Gordon Memorial Hospital in Gordon, NE.
Marvin is survived by his son Anthony Long Soldier; siblings Audrey Yellow Hair, Loretta Yellow Hair, Amy Ringing Shield, and Walter Yellow Hair; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, & nephews.
Marvin was preceded in death by his father Leo Yellow Hair; mother Almarie (Two Lance) Yellow Hair; brothers Darrell Yellow Hair, Elmer Yellow Hair, Donald Yellow Hair, Gary Yellow Hair, and Jerry Yellow Hair; sister Jeanette Yellow Hair-Domingo; paternal grandparents Louis Yellow Hair, Josie Kills In Water, and Lincoln Looking Horses; maternal grandparents Thomas Two Lance and Julia Yellow Hawk-Two Lance; and grandchildren Theodore Yellow Hair Sr, Keisha Yellow Hair, Elliot Yellow Hair Jr, James Conroy, William Yellow Hair, and Carla Elk Boy.
Pallbearers are Lawrence Richards, Darrell Yellow Hair, Damien Domingo, Joe Yellow Hair Jr, Donroy Feather Earring, Gabriel No Leaf, Colin LaDeaux, and John No Leaf.
