The Chadron Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #69 and the Chadron Volunteer Fire Department are again planning their annual Shoots and Ladders golf tournament and silent auction! This year they will be adding K-9 officer Sukey’s shirt sales to the event! The event is scheduled for June 29, 2024 at Ridgeview Country Club.
Look for dispatchers, firefighters, deputies, and officers to be in touch with area businesses for donations of silent auction items and hole prizes. Hole sponsorships are available for $500 – first come, first served. Sponsorships include a team registration.
The golf tournament is a 4-person scramble, entry fee is $240 per team. Sign-up is at Ridgeview Country club or call 308-432-4468. Shot gun start at 10:00 am. During registration teams can enter Skins for $20 per team. There will also be “green challenges” for up to $20 on hole 2 and 6. Golf awards will be announced after all play ends.
K-9 officer Sukey’s shirts will be available in Youth and Adult sizes. There will be samples and order forms available in the clubhouse during the tournament. Payment is due at the time of order. Proceeds from the K-9 shirts will go to the FOP for the K-9 program.
The silent auction will be set up from 10am to 5pm in the clubhouse. Payment is due at close of auction with winning bidders announced just before the golf awards.
