Former Nebraska/Kansas State and current Birmingham Stallions quarterback Adrian Martinez has been named MVP of the United Football League. Martinez finished the season third in passing yards with 1,750, rushed for 528 while throwing for 15 touchdowns and rushing for three.
Martinez will lead the Stallions into the UFL championship game on Sunday vs the San Antonio Brahmas. Kickoff set for 3 p.m. on Fox in St. Louis.
