Funeral services for 56-year old Alan Fast Horse, originally scheduled for Sat, Jan 13, 2024 will now be graveside services on Friday, Jan 19, at 1:00 at the Fast Horse Creek Cemetery in Fast Horse Creek-Wounded Knee, SD, with Minister Alex Bad Bear III and Brother Norman Cash officiating
Viewing services will precede the burial from 11:00 to noon at the Sioux Funeral Home in Pine Ridge, SD.

Alan Joseph Fast Horse was born on April 7, 1967 in Pine Ridge, SD to Joseph Thomas Fast Horse Jr and Madonna Marie Wounded Horse. Alan made his journey to the Spirit World on January 6, 2024.
Alan is survived by his siblings Carol Bad Bear, Kelly Rae Fast Horse, Brandon Fast Horse, Wanda “Buffy” Mills, Patrick Mills, Lenny Mils, Antoinette Fast Horse, Andrea Fast Horse, Jolie Fast Horse, and Pamela Fast Horse; hunka children Dominic Yellow Elk, Warfield High Hawk, Aiden, Azaraya, Mykal, Akicita Waters, Oscar Moves Camp, and Dorothy Moves Camp; nieces & nephews Ann Marie “Annie” Conquering Bear, Alicia Conquering Bear, Lucas “Luke” Thomas Conquering Bear, Jessica K Conquering Bear, Jeffrey Fast Horse, Rhiannon Fast Horse, “Lil Reggie” Black Elk, Danika Black Elk, Troylynn Black Elk, Sheldon Black Elk, Isaac Jones, and Cheyenne Jones; grandchildren Reuben Conquering Bear-Martinez Jr and Sophia Grace Conquering Bear-Kite; and numerous other nieces, nephews, & grandchildren.
Alan was preceded in death by his father Joseph T Fast Horse; mother Madonna Wounded Horse-Fast Horse; grandparents Joseph Fast Horse, Annie Broken Rope-Fast Horse, Howard Wounded Horse, and Hazel Wounded Horse; brothers Jeffery Fast Horse and Lionel Fast Horse; uncles Ted Little Moon, Tom Little Moon, Leon Little Moon, and Joe Spotted Bear; and aunt Sandra Little Moon.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Fast Horse, Brandon Fast Horse, Lenny Mills, Clarence Returns Sr, Jerome Whistler, Larry Lame, Zaedyn Winters, Louis Winters, Alex Bad Bear Jr, and Jordon Winters.
