Burial follows at 11:00 at the Pine Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Rapid City.
Albert Xavier Janis was born on May 23, 1935 at home in Potato Creek, SD to Edward Janis and Ellen (Rouse) Janis. Albert made his journey to the Spirit World on November 29, 2022 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Albert is survived by his sons Allen Janis and Aron Janis; brother Tom Janis; and sister Jeanie Ashley.
Albert was preceded in death by his wife Cleo Janis; parents Edward and Ellen Janis; 7 brothers; and 4 sisters.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Janis, Monty Dooner, Clint Janis, John Price, Joe Janis Jr, Robert Anderson, and All Friends & Relatives.
