Loading

Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) conducted local alcohol compliance checks on Saturday, September 28th, in Dawson County during the afternoon and evening.

In total, 10 businesses were checked. Two of those businesses sold alcohol to a minor for a compliance rate of 20%. The businesses that failed the compliance check was the Cozad Country Club and the Fill N Chill #10.

Businesses that sell alcohol to minors are referred to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission. Clerks who sell alcohol to minors are cited for procuring alcohol for a minor. This project is 100% funded by the Region II Human Services SUPTBG ($427,899.00 6B08TIO85820-01M002) through SAMHSA, contracted through the NDHHS, Division of Behavioral Health.
