Alcohol Compliance Checks Held in Hall County

Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol conducted alcohol compliance checks in Hall County.

During the afternoon and evening hours on Friday, October 25, 2024, investigators conducted alcohol compliance checks in Hall County. This project was funded 100% by The Prevention Project in Grand Island, NE.

In total, 10 businesses were checked. One of those businesses sold alcohol to a minor for a compliance rate of 90%. The business that failed the alcohol compliance check did not check for the minor’s identification before sale.

Businesses that sell alcohol to minors are referred to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission. Clerks who sell alcohol to minors are cited for procuring alcohol for a minor.
