Aliastair Sheldon Crow-Herrod was born on February 27, 2003, in Rapid City, SD to Sheldon Eugene Herrod and Avis Crow. Aliastair made his journey to the Spirit World on May 8, 2023, in Oglala, SD.
Aliastair is survived by his mother Avis Crow; brother Austin Crow-Herrod; grandparents Diane Crow, Corrine Brave, Katie Kindle, Cordelia Blindman, Audrey Kindle, Minnie Kindle, and Katherine Starr; aunts Tessie Her Many Horses and Bev (Kevin) Belt; uncles James Cromwell and Brian Featherman; nephews Derek Jealous of Him and Brian Featherman Jr, and nieces Briseis Crow and Breelynn Featherman.
Aliastair was preceded in death by his father Sheldon Eugene Herrod; grandparents Levi & Bertha Good Voice Flute, Eugene Herrod, Frank Kindle and Wanda Kindle; aunts Larena Vierra, Betty Lou Good Voice Flute, and Shana Helper; and uncles Roderic Crow, Daryl Crow and Rob Blacksmith.
Pallbearers will be Bradley Jensen, Quinten Rouillard, Thomas Running Horse, BJ Running Horse, Monte Eagle Louse, Vernon Short Bull, Daryle Crow Jr, and Vernon Cromwell.
