Alvis Marlo Tail was born on Sept 11, 1956 in Eagle Butte, SD to Adelbert Tail Sr and Ella Frances Beautiful Bald Eagle. Alvis made his journey to the Spirit World on Feb 8, 2023 at his home in Evergreen Community-Porcupine, SD
Alvis loved his music and played several instruments including the guitar, piano, harmonica, and drums. He loved rock and roll music the most.
Alvis was preceded in death by his parents Adelbert Tail Sr and Ella Frances Beautiful Bald Eagle; sisters Jackie Wood, Adele Tail, Gertrude Traversie, and Faith Tail; brothers Curtis Two Two and Adelbert Tail Jr.
Other family members that passed away include Mona Mesteth and son Eric, Tyrone Mesteth, Kyle Mesteth, Karyn Jessie Mesteth, JR Bear Robe, Sam Bear Robe, Samantha Bear Robe, Eli Tail Jr & Jackie, Eli Tail III, Cody his brother, Ryan & Ronnie High Bear, Tessie Bear Robe and her twins Eternity and Elias, and numerous other family members.
Alvis is survived by his wife Debbie Tail; sisters Priscilla, Mary, Martha, Ella, Lula, and Crystal; brother Francis Sonny Richards; hunka sister Bonita Andrews; cousin, Don Mesteth; uncle Eli Tail, Sr; and several other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ethan Tail, Don Mesteth, Faron Apple, Will Apple, BJ Elk Boy, AJ Yellow Boy, Adam Yellow Boy, Adrian Yellow Boy, Aaron Rowland, and Napoleon Lays Bad.
