Funeral services for 46-year old Anne Yellow Hawk are Tues, July 26, 2022 at 10:00 CT at the He Dog Community Hall in He Dog, SD, with Grandpa George Guerue officiating and traditional Lakota Services by Sage Fast Dog
Burial is at the Black Crow Family Cemetery in He Dog.
A one-night wake service starts Monday, July 25, at 2:00 CT at the He Dog Community Hall.
Anne Marie Yellow Hawk was born on March 28, 1976 in Rosebud, SD to Royce Yellow Hawk Sr and Sandra A Black Crow. Anne made her journey to the Spirit World on July 16, 2022, at the IHS in Rosebud, SD.
Anne is survived by her daughters Lena Iron Shell and Ella Iron Shell; sons Kuwa Yellow Hawk and Jacob Iron Shell; father of children Bruce Iron Shell; siblings Royal Yellow Hawk, Tony Yellow Hawk, and Karen Searby; and grandchildren Brenden P Two Strike Jr, Kenneth W Fast Horse, and Ehanni Gleska Horse Looking.
Anne was preceded in death by her son, Bradley Iron Shell; mother Sandra A Black Crow; father Royce Yellow Hawk; brother Cowboy Black Crow; aunt Thelma Black Crow; grandmother Nelli He Dog; and grandfather Royal R Black Crow.
Pallbearers will be Ella Iron Shell, Lena Iron Shell, Grace Menard, Chuck Black Crow, Leo Guerue, Levi Waln, and Rodney N Bordeaux.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dominic, Danielle, & Carla Running Horse, Jenny Sierra, Waln Sisters, Tony Yellow Hawk, Kathy Brings Plenty & Zollie, Luti, & Dianna Stone & family, Charles Little Dog, Linda Little Dog, Jody Waln, and All Friends & Relatives.
